Technology
The new
AQUOS TVs include scanning LED backlight technology for reduction of
crosstalk *¹ in 3D images, in addition to 100Hz double-frame drive
and double-speed scanning technology to reduce afterimages in
pictures with rapid motion. The new technology limits crosstalk by
reducing the optical perception of afterimages using high-speed
on/off light control and separate drive.
*1 Crosstalk occurs when the image for the left eye and image for
the right eye overlap. The perception of depth in a 3D image is
produced using separate images for the left eye
and the right eye.
